Crafts
The Lord's Army - Shield
Goal: discuss how God protects us in difficult times)
Materials: Paper, cardboard, scissors, glue, decorating materials (markers, crayons, paint, glitter, etc.)
Instructions:
1) Read the Bible Verses below and choose several that you feel you connect with the most. Discuss why you chose the verses you did, or you may choose to select other verses from the Bible on your own.
2) Print and cut out the verses or write them out yourself.
3) Use the attached shields either as a template or print and use them. You may choose to create these with cardboard as well to make them more sturdy.
4) Decorate your shield using markers, crayons, paint, stickers, etc.
5) Attach the Bible Verses you chose to your shield by gluing them on or writing them on your shield.

The LORD is good to those who wait for him, a refuge on the day of distress, taking care of those who look to him for protection. - Nahum 1:7
