Chalk Wall Cross

Goal: discuss the Passion of Christ and the saving power of God

Materials: chalk, tape, brick wall or sidewalk

 

Instructions:

1)  Use the tape to section out the shape of a cross.  You can even add a "stained glass" effect by taping out the inside of the cross.

2)  Use the chalk to color in the sections of the cross.  Alternate colors if possible.

3)  This can be done on a brick wall or on your driveway.  Choose a prominent spot to display your cross.

4)  You may also choose to add words to your masterpiece or do several if you have the space.

5)  Look up other Catholic symbols to draw as well like a dove, fish, or chi rho.
